In my CURE (Course-Based Undergraduate Research Experience) class, I learned laboratory techniques in a unique classroom environment.

As a continuation of my CURE course, I work in my professor's lab at the Emerging Pathogens Institute on a project related to ants, microbial diversity, and outreach education.
